Lisa Bennett Salon Opens

Hairy times call for desperate measures.

So when the legendary Richard Hayler Colour Salon unexpectedly went kaput this winter, former senior colorist Lisa Bennett decided to open her own operation stat.

Her eponymous new Lovers Lane chop shop and color studio is as posh as it is pro. And pretty — from the huge marigold lacquered chandelier to zebra wood floors; white patent leather chairs; tweed sofa; and pots of orchids, daisies, hydrangea, and succulents.

Joining Bennett are seven other senior female colorists and stylists (including a keratin protein-straightening specialist) from Hayler. The products are simple but on point: only the best from Bumble and Bumble and Kerastase. And fresh coffee and cookies are always on hand.

It’s a cut above.
