Order a tall glass — wine, of course — tomorrow at Dallas Wine Trail’s first Grand Tasting. Four of Big D’s wineries (Calais, Fuqua, Inwood Estates Vineyards, and Times Ten Cellars) formed the group to pump up our city’s small — but noble and tasty — vino scene.

Times Ten is hosting the event, at which locals can sample three wines from each outpost. Experts behind the labels will be around to shine light on under-the-radar names, while Il Cane Rosso Pizza Napoletana provides snacks to keep you from stumbling around like a drunken goat.

Tickets are $45 in advance ($50 at the door) and include sips, bites, a glass, and a bottle of Dallas’s finest.
