Diamonds in the rough are overrated. Once you hunt them down (in scary places like the Slip Inn and eHarmony), they inevitably tarnish.
Uncover a gem in safer waters — a.k.a. Studio Sebastian, where adorable shopgirl Amber Venz recently unloaded her new eponymous jewelry collection.
The twentysomething Dallas native hand-makes the upscale necklaces, earrings, and headbands with unique materials like jumbo pearls, tiny turquoise stones, raw white coral, Egyptian charms, and bronze Chanel chains. It’s easy to imagine Coco herself in a grosgrain headband with ginormous bows or a prim pearl necklace.
Most looks have a hippie vibe, especially the feathery headgear and layered gold chain designs with imperfect gemstones. Unfortunately, prices aren’t as casual.
But they’re still doable.
Unlike your other “treasures.”
Available at Studio Sebastian, 6730 Snider Plaza (214-360-9001 or studiosebastian.com).
