You love anything Latin.
Pity your bank account can’t fly your ass halfway around the world to get a piece.
Closer to home, Bishop Arts will give you a taste at the new Espumoso Cafe.
Yes, it has all the best coffeehouse trademarks: espressos and cappuccinos (espumoso means “foamy and frothy”), free Wi-Fi, a comfy couch, and piles of mags. But it also has a fresh menu of South American treats like empanadas filled with beef and potato or chicken and cheese made by the owner’s mom, who also bakes a rich, dense flan and tres leches cake.
Espumoso serves tropical smoothies, too, but never mind the usual strawberry-banana nonsense. Try lulo, a citrusy, kiwi-like fruit from Colombia, or açai, the healthy wonder berry. Or maybe you wanna guanabana?
They’re simply Amazon-ing.
