Tea's All That

Patti's Place Tea Room & Bakery

You used to think that high tea was a miracle drink. (And that wheatgrass was hash, but healthier.)

Get baked for reals at Patti’s Place.

Housed in a historical Victorian residence, the tea room and bakery is known for an extensive fair trade drink menu that includes more than 150 loose-leaf teas and tons of unique coffee flavors (Patti’s Dr. Pepper, hot toddy, blueberry scone) roasted on-site daily.

Lunch means sandwiches made with home-baked bread and fresh mixed green and fruit salads on plates that look like your chic granny’s china. Mushroom lovers (ahem) can’t leave without trying the hearty veggie bisque soup.

But really, Patti’s is all about homemade sugary munchies — pineapple cream pie, chocolate brownies, lemon bars, fig squares.

We’re just being blunt.

Patti’s Place Tea Room & Bakery, 3921 Coit Road, Plano (972-612-4828 or pattisplacetearoom.com).
