The last time you took recess, your legs looked like string beans and boys were on your heels (okay, pink Chuck Taylors).
Get back in the game with Recess, a new fitness program that incorporates fun activities from the old days.
The Movement Dallas’s Craig Keaton developed the class with a mission to make you forget about working out. Sayonara, elliptical. Hello, dodgeball, hopscotch, and jump rope.
Sessions takes place Tuesdays and Saturdays at Glencoe Park and at The Movement Dallas in Uptown. Mention DailyCandy before September 14, and your first trial class is free. After that, there’s a drop-in rate, or you can commit to a discounted ten- or twenty-class package.
The class promises to burn boatloads of calories. And lure the boys with workouts like tag football.
Cut to the chase.
Recess, Tuesdays, 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 8 a.m., at The Movement Dallas, 5210 McKinney Avenue, suite 250 (214-521-9200). For more information, go to themovementdallas.com.
