Big Fatty's Flaming Foods

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

And leave the cooking to Big Fatty’s Flaming Foods. The local company sells super-spicy fare whipped up in a commercial kitchen owners Gail and Ricky Patterson call The House of Pain.

A few years ago, they turned all their attention to Big Fatty’s Spankin’ Shack, a downhome resto outside Denton. But this week they’re offering a few cult faves online again, including their renowned hot biscotti (chocolate chipotle, cranberry cayenne), Mistress Karlita’s spanking rub, and organic combustible cornbread mix with jalapeños.

FYI: They also have a catering biz with ever-changing dishes (appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, pastas). We’re all over the bacon-wrapped shrimp on green chile cheese grits, and sweet potato gnocchi with brown butter and sage. And for dessert, heart-shaped shortbread cookies in flavors like lavender cayenne, habanero hemp, and white pepper walnut.

They’re a hunk of burnin’ love.
