When she was first born you marveled at her perfect little fingers and toes. And then she turned 2 and started ogling yours.
File this one away for the day your little lady asks for a mani/pedi — Hopscotch Kids, a nontoxic, water-based nail polish line free of the damaging, stinky chemicals kids should do without.
The bright polishes — everything from traditional pinks and reds to funky greens, blues, and a statement-making black — contain only three ingredients: water, acrylic polymer (a nonhazardous compound that helps eliminate smell and shortens drying time), and colorants. The same thoughtful formulation went into creating the accompanying remover that conditions little nails instead of stripping and damaging them.
We tested the Bubble Gum pink and Eenie Meenie Minie Moe green and were impressed with how quickly they dried and how shiny the tips of our fingers stayed. Looks like they nailed it.
Available online at hopscotchkids.com, $13 each.
