Give Yourself the Boot with Flavors of Italy Travel

Let Nancy and Gary Krabill Be Your Guides

flavors of italy travel!

Your boyfriend, stilettos, and favorite salad dressing are all Italian. But you still haven’t tried the real deal.

Fork over the planning to Flavors of Italy Travel. After seven years of running Flavors from Afar, owners Nancy and Gary Krabill are closing shop to cook up tours.

The plan: weeklong trips for parties of six or seven to Tuscany and Sicily stopping everywhere from off-the-beaten-path wine bars and restaurants to local kitchens for pasta dinners.

The cost: $2,500 (and up) per person, including everything but airfare and a ride to the first meeting spot.

Four of six 2011 trips are already full (jaunts to Sicily in June and Tuscany in October are still open), so hop to it. Or round up six-plus pals, and the couple will take you on a custom journey.

Can’t get away? The Krabills also hosts virtual walking tours of Florence and Siena. The two-class series ($50) incorporates maps and insider info, such as neighborhood strolls, where to park, and favorite eats.

They’ve got the dish.
