Basics are all well and good. But when you want a little pop, do as the French do.
Sheridan French, that is.
The Fort Worth fashion editor and designer’s budding namesake women’s clothing label is big on resort-ready looks with a hippie-chic vibe.
Using boho tribal and ikat textiles made at fair trade mills in Bali, French created a collection drenched in vibrant color (lime, magenta, tangerine) with a festive, ethnic vibe. All of her 21 looks are breezy and the fabrics — cotton, silk — light.
The Georgina dress is a patio party. The Anik shorts are a day at the park. And the Petra tunic is a sunset walk on the beach.
Or a stroll down the Champs-Élysées.
Available at Cabana, 4711 West Lovers Lane (214-674-9928), $152-$398. To see styles, go to sheridanfrench.com.
