White porcelian is no longer god in the bathroom. Spring '08 is the season of the black commode.

Allison Burns and Theo Kogan don't take no lip from anybody. And now that they've debuted Armour Beauty, a new line of moisturizing lipglosses, you mustn't either.
Fourteen shades -- seven shimmer and seven opaque -- conjure up nights at legendary rock houses like Gazarri's, pay homage to iconic beauties like Lady Di, and remind you of your favorite songs (don't deny Fleetwood Mac's Gypsy).
Cat Club gives of-the-moment bright pink, Barracuda does double duty as gloss and vibrant red stain, and Nirvana has the ideal goldie sheen. Fall drama comes in the form of Femme Fatale, a slick black opaque that vamps over any old shade of 'stick.
Cruelty free and environmentally friendly, the glosses are made with all-natural and good-for-you ingredients, including vitamin E; grape seed oil; and avocado, mango, olive, and shea butters. S.W.A.K.
Available at Lake, 2910 Rowena Avenue, between Hyperion Avenue and West Silver Lake Drive, Silver Lake (323-664-6522); online at www.armourbeauty.com.
She's standing alone in a glass box in which it is raining. She's holding a Botox-branded umbrella. The bar is far, far away. Do you think her arms are tired? Do you think she's sick of the Rihanna jokes? Why is she so smiley?
Maybe:
1) She likes the alone time
2) She really likes hearing "November Rain" on repeat.
3) The muscles in her face have yet to relax.

Bond Street boutique Daryl K showcased its eponymous collection, as well as its secondary line, Kerrigan. Models strutted out in the small, casual space, giving us a glimpse of what's to come this fall. The sporty-punk fusion will have you all mixed up — hit the gym or go to band practice? Take a peek at some of our favorites.
What looked like a line to the Juergen Teller hullabaloo last night turned out to be a queue for the Hallo Berlin snack cart. (How do you say, "finger-lickin' good" in German?) Inside, the gallery was full of artsy types and photophiles who took in the pics of half-dressed hotties and a-list celebs in a calm, collected fashion. Surprisingly, everyone kept their own clothes on.
A few more for you:
Pin-tuck blouses, shrunken tuxedo jackets, wide-leg acid wash jeans, and ankle-cropped pants merged to create one heavily layered look at the Karen Walker show. Models bedecked with pom pom beanies and striped leggings teetered down the runway in va-va-voom metallic shoes by Jonathan Kelsey.
Hundreds of punks, rebels, and American Apparel-clad kids partied down at Webster Hall last night to celebrate Chloƫ Sevigny's new partnership with Opening Ceremony. Her 40-piece collection of grungy tops, shorts, vests, skirts, and shoes are now available at Barneys and OC.
As for the bash, The Slits (who, a friend suggested, "look like Fraggles") played live. Brother Paul manned the record decks, with Benjamin Cho, Leo Fitzpatrick, Brian Degraw, and Nate Lowman following suit. The impossible hurdles in getting a beer, surplus of rave kids, and reggaeton rumblings made us feel nostalgic for the old days at Webster Hall, when we would drink SoCo shots and get sandwiched between awkwardly gyrating 17-year-old boys.
A few of us still safe from the Javier virus (aptly named after our web programmer who passed around a new strain of the flu) were able to make it to the Mooka Kinney presentation/party last night at the East Village Hangar Bar. Take a gander at some super cute looks below whipped up by the DailyCandy-discovered twosome. Maeby you'll recognize the person in the first photo?
