Gen Art Injects East Side with Local Fashion (and Botox)
OVER THE WIRE
Can't stop the involuntary muscle spasms from the Botox-sponsored Gen Art party last night.
In the massive Park Plaza Hotel space, designers JMary, Jesse Kamm, and Le Sang Des Betes created themed vignettes for their fall collections.
JMary draped mannequin-like models in long crepe gowns, taffeta skirts, one-shoulder frocks, and cocktail dresses and sent them out onto a '70s style rotating mirrored platform.

Jesse Kamm recreated a luxe safari tent, under which models — in darling dundee pants, dingo shorts, printed blouses, and bell-sleeve shifts — posed on ratan ottomans, gazing out into the Bush.

Le Sang des Betes went futuristic, with severe hairstyles (slicked, tightly pulled back), geometric cuts, space-agey jumpsuits, oversize vests, and wide-cut tops and dresses.
