To our left, a sunglassed model gyrated in a nifty, electric blue breaker. Straight ahead, a suit-sporting hipster battled intense winds and airborne newspaper pages (the Style section, we assume). So by the time a leggy giantess tumbled along the walls in a flowy LBD, we were hardly surprised.
Just impressed by Shipley & Halmos’s larger-than-life projections. The ex-Trovata alums relied on four short films to express the contrasting influences behind spring’s easiest, breeziest looks. (See: Static vs. Motion, Structure vs. Fluid, Graphic vs. Undefined, Action vs. Reaction.) Standout performances by lightweight blazers, chiffon tops, and loose cardigans left us reeling.
