Go bright, go white, or go home. That seemed to be the theme at 2009 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winner Matthew Ames’s show on Tuesday — and it suited him quite perfectly (pun intended).

Besides having a real knack for color, the Brooklyn-based designer’s clothes were far from body conscious (there wasn’t a tight-fitting piece in sight). Instead, he opted for more intriguing shapes: bubbly strapless frocks, long, flowy rompers, and color-block minidresses. As for the see-through raincoat, if you saw Jarmusch’s latest flick, it’ll resonate (let’s just say there’s porn star potential).
