
Party too heartily? Who, us? Not that we think we’ll personally need this info, but we proposed the following hypothetical to Angela Barrow, NYC stylist and designer of accessories line Cheek-ie: What do you do to stave off the fashion week ickies? Here are her soul-revitalizing suggestions.
- If you’ve been screaming, singing drunk at the top of your lungs on the dance floor or chain smoking cigarettes, try this remedy for a sore throat: Mix equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water with 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Gargle for 30 seconds.
- If cocktails, dry air, and other Fashion Week factors have your skin looking like a tired old handbag, polish your lackluster epidermis with a refreshing homemade lemon scrub: Mix the zest of one lemon, 1 cup grapeseed oil, and ¼ cup fine salt or sugar. Scrub away.
