The highest compliment you can pay a high chair: We hardly even noticed you were there.
That’s exactly how we feel about the new compact high chair from BabyBjörn. The sleek, white, BPA-free plastic seat is one of the more unobtrusive pieces of gear we’ve brought home in a long time.
Easy to assemble (just click legs into their slots) and weighing around eleven pounds, it’s light enough to move from kitchen to dining room and back again. Don’t have extra space to leave it sitting out? Collapse it flat and slip it into a closet.
Wiggle worms are out of luck. In addition to a three-point harness, the fold-down tray is connected to the chair by a safety lock, making it impossible for your little eater to stand up and applaud.
You, on the other hand, are free to do so.
Available for preorder online at giggle.com, $300.
When we’re feeling less than inspired by the ups and downs of motherhood, the charming blog from Down Under is the ideal pick-me-up. Khali Whatley’s collection of ideas, projects, and finds are feel good without being goody-two-shoes.
