Are you full of energy this Monday morning?
Neither is the rest of the planet.
Magnificent Revolution plans to do something about that. The not-for-profit organisation has just launched Cycle-In Cinema, bicycle-powered movies meant to inspire a low-carbon lifestyle and encourage more people to start pedaling.
Screenings will take place in unexpected corners of London throughout the year (both out- and indoors). Take your two-wheeler, hook it up to a generator and ride. This Sunday’s film, The Princess Bride, needs the power of at least ten cyclists to play.
Entrance costs nothing, but refreshments (including alcohol) will be for sale. Don’t forget a blanket and a radio or mobile phone to tune into the sound track.
There will be seats, too. In case you’re after a free ride.
