The third time’s a charm. But why try again when you nail it on numbers one and two?

Give the ladies behind Marlowe a well-deserved high-five for Park Tavern, opening Thursday (see below for your chance to win dinner).

The former Moose’s space has been revived to its former glory, with modern bistro accents (stormy blue-gray tiled walls, a bustling open kitchen, center-stage tables encircled by comfy leather banquettes). Breathe easy: The bar remains, with a bonus communal table.

The menu, like the space, is upscale casual. Shared plates are raw, fried, or smoked; meat- and seafood-centric entrees (the famous Marlowe burger, steamed Mediterranean mussels with fennel sausage) are even more robust with wood-fired sides. Chef Jenn Puccio’s burrata starter is masterful: Layer a creamy dollop on salty, deep-fried lemons, top with bright fried basil, and die a little inside.

But don’t really — you’ll want to go back for more.
