Hey, handsome. Fancy meeting you here in the nursery, tucked in bed beside the teddy bear.
Look at that tie and sweet stitched smile. You must be one of the Sweater Dudes, the collection of lovies sewn by Green Genes boutique owner Heather Muenstermann. Clearly, you’re one of a kind, because she makes each of you dapper lads from salvaged wool sweaters and neckties.
Even though you’re dressed for business, we can tell you’re a softie. After all, you’re stuffed with leftover sweater bits, which makes you a great cuddle buddy or even a pillow.
How about giving us a snuggle? Oh, that’s right — you’re taken. No problem, we’ll pick up another lovey at Muenstermann’s store or commission her to design an original.
It’ll be a match made in heaven.
Available at Green Genes, 5111 North Clark Street, between Winona Street and Carmen Avenue (773-944-9250 or green-genes.com), $48; custom orders start at $55.
