Yadouga Handbags Launch

A Worthy Financial Model

Let’s talk fashion cents. There are stocks (a seasonally changing wardrobe) and bonds (the one you made with that Springsteen shirt you’ll never trash).

And then there are investments, like Yadouga leather bags.

The new line from designer Kirsten Yadouga Schwinn (Madewell, Reed Krakoff) was inspired by the native New Yorker’s time spent watching her pops jam out in Greenwich Village in the early ’70s. Which, apart from being badass, speaks to the collection’s classic American vibe.

Up your market value with a black and green wrap clutch or stay on color trend with a mini camera tote cut from periwinkle lambskin. A strapping python-stamped goatskin carryall feels rich, though we’ve got our money on a hickory shoulder bag that appears to have been dipped in fuchsia paint.

The collection is produced locally using Italian leather and gold hardware (cross-body chains, briefcase closures) and will run you $1,114 to $2,086.

But we doubt that will cut your interest rate.
