It doesn’t take much to get us hot. (Fevers, being upstreamed for a cab, and Michael Fassbender do the trick.)
But we maintain our cool at new Nolita boutique Warm.
Inside a former olive oil factory, lifelong surfer Winnie Beattie hawks pieces by artisan friends the world over, like Ibizan ex-model/stylist Yvonne Sporre’s maxis; Jutta Neumann leather sandals; bleached sweaters and knit shorts by Parisian duo Roseanna; and hand-blown glass decor by her husband, photographer Rob Magnotta.
To mimic Beattie’s chill effortlessness, pair Vanessa Bruno sparkle-trimmed silk blazers with Current/Elliott jorts. Generate some heat of your own with a Tocca lace romper or beaded Agua Bendita bikini from Colombia.
Jewels (hello, Manon von Gerkan diamond tiger shark pendant), artsy surf and skate books, a children’s nook, and a back patio for summer manicures shore up any doubts to the space’s cred as an all-around hang.
It’d be a shame if you don’t stop by.
