Chef Ryan Barnett (Neighborhood Services, Bistro 31) takes over My Private Chef’s kitchen to prepare a four-course meal ($45) that includes chilled melon soup and Texas pea cassoulet with ingredients from his garden and local farmers. It does not, however, include drinks — BYOB.
Why: Animal-free Friday made easy.
