What we expected: a flirty and feminine collection steeped in sweetness.
What we saw: Rebecca Taylor finding her edge.
Marching with visages of rebellion, models brought Taylor’s Brit punk-inspired designs to life. She traded florals and pastels for deep blues, violets, and metallics; she replaced ruffles with studs and structure. Sweaters and sweatshirts were cropped, skirts had frayed hems, cargo pants were detailed with zippers, and leather vests toughened up what few delicate, patterned pieces we saw.
