With a fall collection taking its cue from UK punk tunes of The Damned and Siouxsi Sioux, Karen Walker displayed a more subdued version of her usual whimsy. Neutrals like black, army green, and khaki, even when not punched up with electric yellow or orange-red hues, stood out. Oversize jackets and trenches paired with oversize glasses seemed right at home, but playful patterns surprised with new edge: Rose designs looked to be dripping paint as if freshly Krinked. Still, we can’t help but be a sucker for Walker’s charm, and a quilted bomber jacket in pink minifloral is one of our favorites.
