Steven Alan stepped up his Fashion Week game when he made his Lincoln Center debut. The vibe at the show was casual and cool; jazz played while models hung out in relaxed wears. Tailored looks in a simple palette seemed ordinary at first glance, but a closer look revealed interesting layers (a shirtdress peeking from beneath a leather skirt, pictured below) and chic detailing (pinstripe trousers hemmed with elastic cuffs). Slim-cut suiting and boxy jackets mixed tomboy and (college) school girl aesthetics, especially when paired with backpacks and ball caps.
