Our favorite PBS hangout got a club kid makeover, courtesy of Jeremy Scott.
Flashy surprises (barely there hot pants, conical bralettes) collided with hints of classic kid programming. Sesame Street-style fur came in shades of yellow, purple, and orange, and the sound track was sing-along approved (think Beastie Boys’s “Girls” and The B-52s’ “Rock Lobster”). Tuning in were ASAP Rocky, Terry Richardson, and a kilt-wearing Perez Hilton.
Scott even delivered a few bold-print messages: embrace your differences (a “Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die” sweater) and growing up is rough (an “Adults Suck Then You Are One” T-shirt).
Lessons to live by.
