Wish you were rocking cutoffs at SXSW right now? We hear ya.
So we asked married local shutterbugs Scot and Kristi Redman to create a wave-your-lighter kind of lineup. The couple recently traded cameras for headphones to spin at restaurants and private parties. And they toted their month-old daughter to the Austin music fest last year.
That just might be a record.
“No Cocaine,” by Slightly Stoopid
(Best served with a Cruzan Confusion cocktail.)
“I’m an Indian Too,” by Don Armando’s 2nd Ave. Rhumba Band
(This throwback tune makes putting on lipstick fun.)
“Soul Kitchen,” by The Doors
(An oldie but goodie for a beach escape.)
“Dance,” by Rebecca & Fiona
(Wait until the sun is setting for this one.)
“Never Heal Myself,” by Cults
(Spring-fling worthy.)
“Burning Up,” by Madonna
(It’s Madonna.)
“Fuego,” by Bomba Estéreo
(A track for when you’re on the road.)
“This Head I Hold,” by Electric Guest
(This song will keep your invigorated mood on high.)
“Electric Feel,” by MGMT
(Another good travel tune that clears the mind.)
“California Love,” by 2Pac
(Because Scot says every playlist needs some 2Pac.)
