Meet Scout Society member Clare Vivier.

How do you pay the rent?
I am a bag designer living and working in Los Angeles. I started my line, Clare Vivier, in 2008. Everything is produced in L.A.

How else do you fill your days?
I love spending time with my husband, my son Oscar [7], and our dog Paco exploring the city. I also love traveling, being with friends, experimenting with new recipes, and of course, enjoying the results. 

Who are you following these days?
@heatherbethtay — My dear friend Heather Taylor. She recently launched a line of home linens, and I love seeing what is going on at her art gallery, Taylor De Cordoba, as well. [10]
@amandabrooks — I love getting lost in her family life pictures, taken in the English countryside.
@sincerelyjules — I recently met with fashion blogger Sincerely Jules and she was incredibly sweet. I love seeing what she is wearing and where she is traveling to and from. [12]

This is a picture I snapped of myself while I was in New York for meetings. I am wearing a Westbrook Maker hat, made by these two very cool guys in Venice and sold at the Clare Vivier store in Silver Lake. [8]

Your morning coffee?
Usually, I have a cup of espresso when I get to work in the morning. This photo is from my family’s trip to Italy last summer. I wish I could enjoy it like this every morning! [4]

Your significant other, lover, or BFF?
Heather Taylor, my nieces [8], and my dad with Oscar.

Which photo do you refuse to delete from your phone and why? 
I will never delete this photo of my mother; it’s so beautiful and makes me smile every time I look at it. [1]

The last dish that you devoured?
I am addicted to Pressed Juicery juices. [3]

What’s in your bag? 
Being a bag designer, I have quite a few favorites. I carry the large navy duffel for everyday, I have the case for my iPad mini, and I usually have a flat clutch or wallet clutch inside of my duffel to compartmentalize my necessities! I also make great use of my leather monogrammed catch-all [2]; it keeps my desk organized.

Your special place? 
My closet. It’s an entire room in my home. [5] Also, I really enjoy spending time in our backyard; it is especially lovely in the early morning. [11]
