The girls behind footwear boutique Freda Salvador (Megan Papay and Cristina Palomo Nelson) are always a step ahead.

After creating a strong online footprint, the design duo set up shop with a new concept store in Cow Hollow.

Up front, feast your eyes on the bejeweled spring collection. We love the chestnut jodhpur bootie and bone and rose metallic strappy sandal that shoots out rainbows as you walk. In back, watch the geniuses work in their open studio (and peek next season’s styles).

Papay and Nelson outfitted the interior from tip to toe: 19th-century filing system, red seats from the Conservatory of Music. Vintage fashion photography, courtesy of their talented landlord, lines the walls.

There’s even a candy bar for snacking while you shop.

It’s a shoe-in.
