You describe your dream home decor as Life of Pi meets Talitha Getty.
Make faraway fantasies a reality with designer Erica Tanov and artist Emily Payne’s new bedding and housewares collection.
Before collaborating, each artist was a longtime admirer of the other (Tanov showcased Payne’s work; Payne coveted Tanov’s clothing); Tanov’s daughter, Isabelle, suggested they join forces.
Using Payne’s creations (book-cover collages, linocut prints, wire sculptures) and Tanov’s eclectic, gypset style as inspiration, the duo worked with artisans in India to make four hand-printed designs that fuse opulence with the everyday.
Curl up under a quilt flecked with secondary shades and scratchy pie grids, or set the table with pretty blue block-printed cotton poplin napkins.
Complete the look with duvet covers, pillowcases, shams, and cotton canvas shower curtains.
They make a world of difference.
