Pack Your Cabinets with Mazama Ceramics

Masterfully crafted tumblers and more

Your cocktail game is fierce. Your cabinet full of Solo cups? Not so much.

Give your beverages the love they deserve thanks to a new ceramics line out of Portland, Oregon.

The debut collection is a true collaboration. Born of a spirited conversation among six friends (all designers, different fields), Mazama — named after a cluster of volcanoes — is produced from start to finish in the group’s workshop.

Each piece satisfies function and form. Silhouettes are dictated by how they feel in your hand (spoiler alert: like velvet) and the sips they are meant to hold. The large mug begs for coffee or tea; serve whiskey (neat) and wine in stemless Spanish-style cups. Pour your nighttime Negroni into a small tumbler; save the large belted tumbler for a morning juice.

We’d proudly give the handsome serving bottle (decant your wine in it) as a housewarming gift (though, frankly, we want it for ourselves). Sake cups nestle atop accompanying servers — in fact, almost everything stacks for easy storage.

The soothing palette (white, inky blue, charcoal, sea glass) matches anything you might own, and you can mix and match. Plus, there are sets (coffee, tea, sake, cocktail, wine).

Bottoms up.
