Above the Fold

The week in fashion news

above the fold!

We’re with the cover band.

Lena Dunham’s anticipated Vogue cover and editorial was released this week, and in lieu of entering into one of the countless principle-charged debates, we’re just gonna say that we like looking at it. And that she has a cute dog. (Vogue)

• Alexander Wang announced that he will show in Brooklyn at NYFW in February. Good for you, Brooklyn — and Uber. (WWD)

• Kate Moss turned 40 on Thursday — the same day her 16-year-old half-sister Lottie Moss’s first editorial was released in Dazed & Confused. Which, if you think about it, is the perfect way to describe the situation. (The Cut)

• Designer Steven Alan has hooked up with home retailer West Elm. The resulting stripe-heavy collection of bedding, rugs, vases, and side tables is high on our list of wants. (Domaine)

• A hatter we’re mad about, Eugenia Kim, is (re)launching a shoe line for fall 2014. Her collections a few years back were wildly popular, but production issues forced her to shutter the line. We have a feeling everything is going to work out this time around — and that we will want every single pair. (Fashionista)

• The complete Peter Pilotto for Target lookbook was released this week, and we had to take a moment for our eyes to adjust to the colors and patterns. If you have yet to experience the trip, be our guest. (DailyCandy)
