Diptyque Launches Covetable Skin Care

Forget Feu de Bois — set your sights on flower-infused cleansers and lotions instead

diptyque art of skincare!

Diptyque’s Feu de Bois fills your home with fantastic fragrance.

Now the bougie French brand wants a spot in your medicine cabinet. Its latest creation: a five-piece, plant-infused skin care collection.

Start the nighttime ritual by cleansing one of two ways: A thick, moisturizing balm melts away dirt and waterproof eye makeup with sweet almond oil and floral waxes (ylang-ylang, geranium, mimosa). Add a few drops of water to the fine-milled Radiance Boosting Powder (made with rose, jasmine, and orange blossom petals) to work up a lather.

Creamy white clay doubles as a quick exfoliating scrub or ten-minute mask (rice and oat powders slough dead skin; apricot kernel oil replenishes moisture).

Infused Facial Water tones and hydrates with a mixture of nine plants and flowers (damask rose, chamomile, peppermint, verbena). Taking the term multitasker to the extreme, a few squirts of the vitamin-enhanced treatment turn the cleansing balm into a lotion, the powder cleanser into a cream, the clay into a liquid, and prep the skin to absorb the Protective Moisturizing Lotion (calendula, orange blossom, rose).

The company stamps its signature labels with apothecary-like illustrations.

We smell a winner.
