Nothing like a good blow-out to make you feel like a star. (That’s blow-OUT.)

You know, that just-stepped-out-of-the-salon look. You try to make it last a second or a third day. Oh, that it would last forever.

Or at least through the weekend? Here’s a trick. Dry shampoo, an age-old must-have used by stylists to banish the greasy look, is being picked up by regular folk to preserve the shelf life of a great trip to the salon. Klorane’s version is a fave, but Bumble and bumble’s powder is shade-specific and can be used for temporary color, too. Just apply, pouf it around, and brush out. Bingo: Your blow-out is revived to its original splendor. (Sure beats lather, rinse, repeat.)

A warning: Dry shampoo has been known to lull people into a state of showerlessness. Sorry. You still need to wash your body.
