Holy Sheet

One should always remain skeptical about a socialite’s entrepreneurial endeavors.

When we heard that a certain It girl was designing crib linens, we were poised to pooh-pooh it. Then we snuck a peek. And, guess what? Lulu deKwiatkowski’s baby bedding is, in a word, amazing. Think Pratesi meets Marimekko: scalloped edges, delicious hues, and bold graphic patterns. Even the pastels are sophisticated. (And sure, Egyptian cotton is a touch pricey at $105 for a fitted sheet, but that’s hardly a shocker.) With bumpers, pillows, fitted sheets, quilts, and even dust ruffles, you can mix and match to your heart’s content.

So what did we learn today? That sometimes socialites are more than just pretty young things.

Sometimes they make pretty things for young ‘uns.
