Cherry Picking

Space, space, space.

Just another advantage Los Angeles has over New York.

And we’re not just talking living rooms.

Cherry is the high-end vintage boutique beloved by stylish New Yorkers. It’s terrific, of course, but it simply does not compare to the 12,000-square-foot emporium owners Cesar Padilla and Radford Brown recently opened in West Hollywood. The extra space really showcases their fabulous selection of vintage clothing and accessories, dating from the late ’40s to the early ’80s. Pucci, Zandra Rhodes, Hermes, Stephen Burrows … They’re all here, in a cool retro atmosphere, decorated with heaps of pop art.

The most impressive detail? The rental-only room in back, where you can lease such rare finds as very early Versace, Norma Kamali, and Jean Paul Gaultier.

But with so many great options to buy, why rent?
