Simply Devine

Dear Great Britain:

Thank you for tea and crumpets and Cadbury Flake bars. Thank you for Radiohead and Coldplay. Thank you for Nick Hornby, Zadie Smith, J.K. Rowling, and Bend It Like Beckham.

But thank you most of all for giving us something we can’t wait to wear.

Tatty Devine, created by Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden, is the latest pond jumper to delight: a collection of bright plastic, Plexiglass, and wooden brooches, bracelets, and earrings that are just about the most fun accessories we’ve ever seen. The guitar-pick earrings and charm bracelets are a hit. The music-note danglies definitely strike a chord. The ballerina-slipper earrings tickle the fancy. As for the colorful, childlike cutouts of airplanes, acorns, high-heeled pumps, bunnies, and birds, we couldn’t be more entranced.

So please accept our gratitude, Great Britain, for giving us something so adorable, so brimming with charm, so endearingly eye-catching.

Which reminds us. Thank you for Orlando Bloom.
