Recently we were among a select few to view Sarah James shoes, a collection of magical, pretty-cum-preppy open-toe creations not yet carried anywhere. People huddled around the table. Hearts palpitated. Gasps were heard. Brows were dabbed.

We knew you would want to be the first on your block to have a pair of these delicate commodities likely to be everywhere next summer. So, with some prodding, we convinced Sarah to open her coffers of adorable shoes exclusively by appointment. Made in the same Florentine factory that produces shoes for Gucci, Celine, Ralph Lauren, Jimmy Choo, Burberry, and D&G, each shoe has a different ribbon (satin, cotton, silk, or rhinestone buckle); other styles feature stacked heels.

They’re the perfect thing to get you thinking of spring. As in that thing you could use in your step right about now.
