Must-See TV

The final episode of you-know-what approaches. Don’t let it be “The One Where the End of a TV Show Sent You into a Tailspin.” Get ahold of yourself — and your remote. A suitable replacement for Ross and Rachel is what you need.

Naked TV is an evening of one-act pilots primed to be your new favorite series. For the next two weekends, you can sit in judgment alongside Fox execs, who’ve joined forces with the Naked Angels Theater Company to uncover the next hot shows (and writers and actors). One’s about a boy named Sue, whose sisters fight to mold him in their likeness, makeup and all. In Dirtbags, Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch) plays an ex-cheerleader who returns to her blue-collar hometown and encounters her former nemesis. And the dialogue in Twofold, about a coffee-shop gripe session on the perils of dating, makes every Central Perk setup seem rote.

Your applause could land one of these in prime-time, so don’t just sink into your La-Z-Boy.

Or you could just wait for a new great show to come your way, like you wait (and wait, and wait) for the Rachel hairdo to make a comeback.
