People who don’t believe in luck don’t enter contests, they don’t avoid walking under ladders, and they don’t pick up coins on the street.

In other words, they never win anything, often run the risk of getting stuff dropped on them, and are just slightly poorer than the rest of us.

So they’d probably never bother to check out the designs at Lucky LooLoo, either. Their loss (again): The line of jewelry, handmade from vintage bits, is a prime example of how something old can look new again in the right hands.

Brass birds, Lucite flowers, Czech glass beads, and pretty silver lockets appear in fresh color combos on necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, and even hair accessories. What will they think of next? It all depends on what creators Rachel O’Rourke and Daniel Ostrov find on their rounds of estate sales and antique shops.
