Le Rouge et le Soir

You trusted the Burger King.

He said you could have it your way. But, in the end, his lofty promises (great job, no weight gain, eternal life) turned out to be empty.

All is not lost. Cosmo Rouge, the new restaurant and lounge in the Bishop Arts District, serves eclectic global cuisine just the way you like it: authentic.

The Mediterranean paella Valenciana (saffron-flavored rice, sauteed meats and seafood with onions, garlic, and peas) will take you straight to the Mediterranean. Moussaka (layered ground meat, eggplant, and potatoes) whisks you away to Greece. And the chocolate nirvana (warm sponge cake topped with vanilla-infused caramel sauce) will make you feel right at home.

The restaurant’s translucent red glass terrazzo bar, yards of rich burgundy velvet, and exotic paneling satisfy all your comfort needs. But if you desire a little more pampering, head to the lounge, where one of the bartenders will prepare for you made-to-order cocktails night after night.

And they’ll never forget their vow. Because a promise is still a promise.

At least to some people.
