Feel like a bit of a Scrooge this Christmas?
Bah, humbug.
You don’t have to be rich to be generous. Why not offer up what few pennies you have for a quality bag of sweets from Mr Humbug? Newly opened in Greenwich Market, it’s an old-fashioned shop with prices to match.
The antique shelves are crammed with rows of delicious things in large jars: rhubarb and custards, strawberry creams, bonbons and chewing nuts in every shape and size, as well as traditional slabs of homemade toffee and fudge. All at the sweet price of 99p per 100 grams and served up in that rarest of things: a paper bag.
Don’t leave a measly carrot for Rudolph this Christmas Eve; give him what he really wants — a nose bag bursting with cola cubes. You’ll have something delicious to nibble on throughout the season and plenty to share with others.
All for mere chocolate-coated peanuts.
