He says tom-ay-toe. You say toh-mah-toh.
He says his Where’s the Beef? T-shirt is acceptable attire for dinner with your grandparents. You say, wear it and die.
When you’re ready to compromise, try Tom Foolery.
Two graphic designers (formerly art directors for Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister and Co.) got the idea for this new clothing line from Dolly Python owner Gretchen Frizzell. She conceived the Tom character (a sweet guy who enjoys the occasional drink and walks a fine line between vice and valor) and provided the vintage garments.
The designers took it from there and created a unisex collection of one-of-a-kind tees, polos, and track jackets with silk-screened images of family crests, snakes, and the grim reaper.
So he can explore his childish and mature tastes. And you won’t have to put your foot down.
Unless, of course, you call the whole thing off.
