The Right Foot
Charmone Shoes

Summer shoes have high expectations of your feet.
Open-toe slingbacks, flip-flops, wedge heels. You’re footing the bill for weekly pedicures just to stay presentable.
But what do you demand of your shoes? Not much, by the looks of those four-inch python stilettos.
Change that this fall by picking up a pair from Charmoné, a debut collection of heels, pumps, and wedges with a social conscience. The line is animal-friendly, which means that instead of leather and suede, the shoes are made with microfibers.
But being socially aware doesn’t mean sacrificing style. The two collections, Spice and Wildflower, will work wonders with your fall wardrobe. Slip on the tweed Primrose stacked heel pump with jeans and a blazer, or give that A-line dress a little shimmer with the slingback Daisy — complete with hand-carved Italian buckles at the toes.
The collection also uses water-based glues, nickel-free hardware, and the production process is PVC free, so you can feel good about what you’re putting on your feet.
And that’s more than we can say for 99 percent of the shoes in your closet.
