Round One: It’s a full breakdown/analysis of your strands, followed by a protein, moisture, body, or damage-control masque.

Round Two: You’re splayed out on a comfy salon chair in a private room (with tunes pouring from the speakers) as the stylist weaves her hands through your tresses. You think you’re down for the count, but then comes another blow — the cool rinse.

Round Three: After a quick dry, your hair is protected against pollutants for another six weeks — give or take.

The Decision: Between the revitalizing scalp massage and soothing products, you were left lightheaded. Never mind your soft, full, manageable hair.

Not that the outcome is any mystery — given that we started with a real knockout.
