Let’s Do Lunch

Deciding what to have for lunch usually dominates your morning.

Your boss says: “Um, can we see you for a minute?”
You hear: “Yum, pad see iew with chicken in it.”

Your colleague says: “Avoid Lorna in reception. So tired of her moods.”
You hear: “Enough deception. Stop grazing the salad bar at Whole Foods.”

Calm your inner voices in Fremont, where Capitol Hill darling Eric Banh just opened his second Baguette Box.

Still in soft opening, the new outpost has a few details to iron out (stocking the beverage case, artwork for the walls), but the Vietnamese/French inspired menu serves the same deliciously dribbly sandwiches (drunken chicken, crispy tofu) and sides like truffle fries and beet salad.

Rumor has it that a plan for national expansion is in the works.

Unless, that is, we’re just hearing things.
