When you imagine yourself barefoot and pregnant, runway shows don’t often come to mind.
Unless, that is, you’re Southern-born Dosty founder Dorothy Lanier, whose recent mommy status (and we suspect North Carolina roots) has led her to a new line of cotton separates after a decade of New York-based cashmere design.
This season, she’s doing billowy, feminine shapes in sweet graphics (wallpapery green leaves and pink florals). Victorian blouses have vintage wood buttons; pleated baby doll tops come in of-the-moment colors like seaport blue; and trendy tunics with low V-necks are sure to flatter pre-, post-, and never-prego bosoms alike.
Giving you even more reason to stick your chest out.
Figuratively speaking, of course.
