Sure you can dress ’em up for spring, but can you actually take ’em out? Not unless their clothes are as fetching yet functional as these are.
First up: Nest, the brand new line of subtly trend-conscious pieces. With clean-lined tunic jackets and football tees for boys and pretty wrap dresses and polka-dot bubble skirts for girls, the collection’s just the thing for formal picnics and impromptu playdates alike.
The little buggers will look dashing as they dash about in all the newest pieces by Da-Nang: goldfish-colored capri pants embroidered with dragons, rosy pink racer-back dresses, and super-soft cotton zip-up hoodies.
Tea parties aren’t mandatory for wearing the full-body dresses by Tea Collection (or, for boys, the British khaki explorer shorts), but they sure do make a nice excuse. Meanwhile, the mixed fabric, tangerine and pink ruffle skirt by Le Fromage et L’orange is a full-on fete in its own right.
And when the occasion demands, look to the new Small Wonders collection by Baby Lulu. The precious frocks are abloom with ethereal applique fabric flowers but aren’t so delicate they can’t go for a romp in the flower garden.
Because when the weather gets warm, you know how kids are.
Work hard; play hard.
