Head to Belkin Family Lookout Farm and pick your own peaches, plums, nectarines, and apples at an early-bird rate of $5 per day.
Why: You can pick your friends. But can you pick your friends’ fruit?

What:
 This weekend starts with an ecofriendly craft fair in Union Square then slides into late-night mode with a 1970s dance party called Project MUM under the McGrath Highway.
Why: Make it a summer of love.
When: Sat. Craft fair, 3-7 p.m.; dance party, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.

Your Denim
What:
Bring your gently worn jeans to Barneys New York and get 20 percent off a new pair by designers like J Brand and A.P.C.
Why: Your old pair gets donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
