Onion Ring

You exercise maximum discretion. Keep things on the down low. Like so low, it’s underground.

Which is why you’ll love the folks at teeny basement store Red Onion Records & Books, who’ll come to your place to sort through and purchase from that stash of old books, records, and CDs you’ve been sitting on.

Got a bunch of Zeppelin bootlegs that you’ll never learn to love? They’ll take them off your hands. Need to unload your collection of early Public Enemy records to make room for girlfriend’s stuff? They’ll clear out the lot. Want to make money off the signed Julia Child cookbook you found in Granny’s attic? Bring it to the store, and they’ll make you an offer.

They’re interested in good condition and hard-to-find vinyl and CDs, as well as newish art books, contemporary fiction, small press prints, and unusual copies (just remember they’re picky).

And with all the money you get, you just might find some stuff in the shop you want to buy yourself.

But let’s keep that hush-hush.
